Directions to Congregation Or Shalom
From Southern NY/Southern CT:
- Head north on the Merritt Parkway, Rte. 15. (Merritt Parkway becomes Wilbur Cross Parkway at the bridge past exit 53.)
- Exit at number 56 - Orange.
- At the end of the ramp, go straight at the traffic light onto Old Grassy Hill Road.
- Congregation Or Shalom is approximately 1/2 mile on your left.
From Northern CT/MA:
- Head south on the Wilbur Cross Parkway, Rte. 15.
- Exit at number 56 - Orange.
- Bear right onto Grassy Hill Road, Rte. 121.
- Turn left at the traffic light onto Old Grassy Hill Rd.
- Congregation Or Shalom is approximately 1/2 mile on your left.
From Upstate NY:
- Head East on I-84.
- Exit at number 11, Rte. 34, Derby, New Haven.
- Follow Rte. 34 East approximately 16 miles.
- Pass the Valley Diner and Wendy's on the left.
- Turn right onto Grassy Hill Road, Rte. 121.
- Turn left at the traffic light onto Old Grassy Hill Rd.
- Congregation Or Shalom is approximately 1/2 mile on your left.
From New London and Points East:
- Take I-95 South to Exit 41 (Marsh Hill Rd.).
- Turn right at the light at the end of the ramp.
- At second light, turn left onto Rte. 1 (Boston Post Road).
- At next light, turn right onto Route 152 (Orange Center Road).
- Follow for approx. 1 mile.
- Turn left onto Old Grassy Hill Rd.
- Synagogue is on the right.
Directions to Our Cemeteries
To Ladas Place, Shelton:
Turn left leaving the synagogue parking lot and turn left to Orange Center Road. Turn left and stay on Orange Center Road for approximately 1.4 miles to Route 34. Turn west onto Route 34 to Route 8 South via ramp. Stay on Route 8 South for 0.3 miles to Connecticut Hwy 110/Howe Avenue. Exit toward Shelton. Turn left onto Howe/CT 110 (1.2 miles). Turn left onto Wright Avenue for 0.1 mile. Wright becomes Ladas Place. From synagogue to cemetery is approximately 7.78 miles.
To Derby-Milford Road, Orange:
Turn left leaving the synagogue parking lot and turn left to Orange Center Road. Turn left and stay on Orange Center Road (Rte 152) for 1.4 miles to Route 34. Turn left onto Route 34 for 2.3 miles to Derby-Milford Road. Turn left onto Derby-Milford Road to cemetery. (Use 831 Derby Milford Rd, Orange for GPS)
To Farwell Street, West Haven:
Turn left leaving the synagogue parking lot and turn left to Orange Center Road. Turn right onto Orange Center Road for 1.4 miles to Old Tavern Road. Turn left onto Old Tavern Road to U. S. 1. Stay on U.S. 1 for 1.6 miles and turn left onto Farwell Street to cemetery. (Use 75 Farwell St, West Haven for GPS)
