Adult Education

Congregation Or Shalom's Adult Education Committee organizes various educational and enriching programs which are directed to all members of the Synagogue: adults and young people.

Both on its on and in partnership with other COS groups (Jewish Life, Sisterhood, Men's Club, and the Education Committee, for example,)Adult Education's goal is to create programming that helps us relate to and think about our faith and our relationship to God, and to create informed discussion about how we can bring Jewish concepts and thinking to issues we encounter into our everyday lives. 

Whether you are looking to meet new members, celebrate holidays within our community or looking for programs that will enlighten you, Adult Education is the place to start.

Our programs include trips, films with Jewish themes, the annual Kristallnacht program, weekly Coffee and Learn sessions with our Rabbi, holiday programs, collaborations with other synagogue committees and Jewish organizations in the area and many other events.

All are welcome, free of charge.
