Sisterhood Shabbat

Dear Sisterhood Friends,
It's time to mark your calendars for Congregation Or Shalom's Sisterhood Shabbat, which will take place on Friday, April 28th 2023.
Since it's been three long years since we've held this inspiring Shabbat Service, we're making it an extra special evening!
We'll be meeting at Or Shalom for Lite Bites and Schmoozing at 6:30PM, an hour before the service begins. We'll provide the bites, and we're asking you to bring the bras! We'll be collecting new or gently used bras, new panties, and hygienic products (pads, tampons) to donate to the charity I Support the Girls.
The Shabbat Service will begin at 7:30PM and we would love your participation! You can be a part of this spiritually uplifting evening, led by members of our Sisterhood. There are prayers and readings in both Hebrew and English.
If you are interested in taking part in the service, please reply to Linda Zwerdling (email and phone below) by Monday, April 3rd. Let her know if you prefer a Hebrew prayer or an English reading. If there is a specific prayer that you would like to lead, we'd be happy to honor your request. Linda will also let you know which prayer or reading was assigned to you before the service.
If you would like to attend, but would rather not participate with a reading, that's fine too! Please reply to Linda Philips (email below) and let her know that you'll be there!
