Madrichim - Teen Aides at Hebrew School

YAHAD Sunday School provides an opportunity for our graduates to stay involved and give back!
Our vibrant, committed group of teenagers donate their time, energy, and skills to our school every Sunday morning. Their contributions range from clerical to educational; providing a vital role in the success of a typical Sunday school day. At any point of the morning, you may see Madrichim (Hebrew word meaning "guides") doing office work, selling snacks, tutoring Hebrew, helping out in the classroom, or simply holding a child's hand. Each Madrich commits to a minimum of 36 hours per year and many far exceed that amount! This program keeps young congregants connected to Congregation Or Shalom and to Jewish life. We are so very proud of this program and all our young people who have called themselves Madrichim!
